About Damian Monzillo
We are an extension of nature. Our humanity is our beauty. All of our unique imperfections are what make the human race so incredible. Connecting the hard and soft lines of a body to sculpt in relation to bone structure, hair texture, density and color is my alchemy.
Every time I move my hands or tools though hair, the language is of more than 25 years of dedication. Through that time I’ve worked with celebrities like Helena Christensen, Christina Hendricks, Dita Von Teese, and many many more. My work has been featured in Vogue, Elle, and Glamour and in museums from Palais de Tokyo in Paris, Tate Modern in London, The Getty Center in LA, and The Gansevoort Hotel & the Cutlog Art Fair in NYC. This all coalesced by creating the first professional line of hairpins on this continent, Hairpins by Damian Monzillo! They are an upgrade of quality as well as ending the antiquated idea of hairpins being disposable after one use. Anyone will only need a few hairpins or grips for a strong style.
